SHIPPING POLICY
This Shipping Policy explains where we currently ship, how our postage rates work, estimated delivery times, order processing times, and what to do if an order is delayed, lost or damaged.
Writefully Sustainable Stationery ships from Dublin, Ireland.
1. Shipping zones currently available
At launch, we currently ship to:
Ireland
Northern Ireland
Shipping to Great Britain, the wider European Union and the rest of the world will be added once the relevant shipping rates, customs information and checkout settings have been confirmed.
2. Shipping rates
Shipping is calculated at checkout using weight-based rates. The rate shown will depend on the total weight of the products in your basket and the packaging required.
Current launch shipping rates for Ireland and Northern Ireland are:
A5 Hard-Backed Envelope Postage: €2.95
A4 Hard-Backed Envelope Postage: €3.95
A4 Box Postage: €5.50
Parcel / Eco-Bag Postage: €7.95
Larger Parcel Postage: €11.00
Heavy Parcel Postage: €13.00
Very Heavy Parcel Postage: €16.00
Free postage is available on orders over €99 in Ireland.
The shipping rate shown at checkout is the rate that applies to your order.
3. Order processing time
We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–3 working days.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.
During busy periods, markets, craft fairs, Christmas trading, adverse weather or unexpected circumstances, dispatch may take slightly longer. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you where possible.
4. Estimated delivery times
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
Ireland: usually 2–5 working days
Northern Ireland: usually 3–7 working days
Delivery may take longer during busy postal periods, public holidays, severe weather, industrial action or circumstances outside our control.
5. Local delivery and collection
Local delivery is not currently offered as a standard checkout option.
Collection may occasionally be available at markets, fairs or events where Writefully Sustainable Stationery is trading, but only where this has been agreed in advance or is clearly offered at checkout.
Please do not choose collection unless it is shown as an available option or has been agreed with us.
6. Customs, duties and import charges
At launch, we currently ship only to Ireland and Northern Ireland.
If shipping outside Ireland and Northern Ireland becomes available in the future, customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, handling fees or other charges that may apply in the destination country.
These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping rates unless clearly stated at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
7. Lost or delayed orders
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after dispatch, please contact us at info@writefullysustainable.com with your order number.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, may ask you to confirm the delivery address and allow additional time for postal delays before taking further action.
We will deal with lost orders fairly and in line with your statutory consumer rights.
8. Damaged items
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at info@writefullysustainable.com with:
Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the damaged item
Clear photographs of the outer packaging, where relevant
This helps us assess what happened and decide the appropriate solution.
Where an item is confirmed to be damaged in transit, faulty, incorrect or not as described, we will deal with the issue in line with your statutory consumer rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
9. Incorrect address details
Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If an order is returned to us because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, we will contact you. Additional postage may be required to resend the order.
10. Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Please contact us before sending any item back, as we need to confirm the return details and provide the correct return address.
Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.
